North Florida Historic Wedding Venue | Mathis House, Chris and Nikki
/Chris and Nikki hosted a simple, beautiful, DIY wedding. They focused on the impact of their pending nuptials and lived in the moment, without the worry or stress that we sometimes see when planning more elaborate affairs. They selected The Mathis House for their outdoor ceremony and reception.
The weather was gorgeous! April weddings are almost always the best Spring month to get married in Florida. The sun was shining, the breeze blew softly and the temperature was a dream.
Kelly, the photography, is Nikki's best friend. Which, we think, you can really see in the photographs. There is something so personal about the images. Especially the first look- which was incredibly touching!
We loved Nikki's bohemian, casual wedding dress! It had exquisite lace detail and fit her so beautifully. Her bridesmaids also wore white, which was quite a vision (and actually very traditional).
Nikki and Chris were very laid back and enjoyed every moment of the day.
